Linda Bell Cook, of Niota, went to her Heavenly home on her 74th birthday, Monday, June 23, 2025 with her loving family by her side.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Minnie Elizabeth White; brothers, Gene, David, Jimmy, and Raymond White; grandson, Tommy Small; son-in-law, Chuck Klingle.
Our mother! There's a lot that we could say about this woman. The most important is the love she had for her family and friends. She loved the hardest! Married to our dad for close to 58 years. Through the ups and downs of marriage and raising a family our mom showed us how to be loving, caring, strong and fun-loving people. If you had a chance to know her you know what I mean. If you didn’t have a chance to really get to know her than you missed out on a wonderful opportunity. We will miss her greatly. We will love her always. We know she will be looking out for all of us, as she always did. Our only desire is that everyone remembers her as the wonderful woman that she was.
She is survived by her husband, William (Bill) Cook; daughters and spouses, Cathy Klingle, Deloris (DeeDee) and Phillip Yates, Jennifer Cook and Garry Miller; grandchildren, Keisha Small, Eric Cook, Jarod Smith, Jordan Yates, Zachary Yates, and Cloe Smith; great-grandkids, Jayden Bullard, Amihra Hall, Adrian Cook, and Bailey Cook.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 26, 2025 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow in the chapel with Rev. Gerald Lynn officiating. Family and friends will proceed to Eleazer Cemetery for the committal service.
