Linda Gail Valentine

Linda Gail Valentine, age 60, of Tellico Plains gained her heavenly wings Friday, October 22, 2021.

Linda was a registered nurse who worked for Athens Regional Medical Hospital for 15 years. As a member of New Providence Missionary Baptist Church, Linda had devoted her life to Christ and carried that with her into her nursing career. The one thing she loved more than caring for people was caring for her family.

She was preceded in death by her father, B.B. Shaw; brother, Stevie B (Bubba) Shaw

Linda is survived by her husband of 42 years, Douglas Alan Valentine; daughters, Sarah Beth Keener, Rebecca Anne Self; son-in-laws, Anthony Keener and Jerry Self; mother, Annie Sue Shaw; grandchildren, Hayden and Zoey Self, Brooke, DeMario, Meya and Myles Keener.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Myers Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 28, 2021 at New Providence Cemetery with Rev. Rick Atkins officiating.
