Margaret "Babe" Hunt

Margaret "Babe" Hunt, 68, of Tellico Plains passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at UT Medical Center.

.She was preceded in death by her husband, George Hunt; parents, William and Bonnie Walker; grandsons, Brandon and Blake Hunt and brother, Harold Walker

Our beloved Babe lived and raised her family with husband, George in Tellico Plains. She worked many years owning and operating "Mr. G's Restaurant", Hunt & Sons Excavating and as a city clerk for the Town of Tellico Plains.

She will full of life, a child of God, always smiling and blessed with laughter. She was the best Mother and Mamaw anyone could ever have. Truly Missed.

She is survived by sons and daughter-in-law;Trevor and Carla Hunt of Tellico Plains, TN andAndy Hunt of Tellico Plains, TN; daughter,Georgina Hunt of Southport, NC; grandchildren,Shelby and Bailey Hunt, Austin, Haily and Kylie Hunt and Andraimee Quicksill; brothers,Rick,David,Earl,Dale andJ.B. Walker; sister, Joyce Bivens; many nieces, nephews and cousins and all her many friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 16, 2017 at Myers Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held at Unicoi Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 17, 2017 with Rev. Carroll Hamilton officiating.
