Marjorie Morris, aged 74, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 12, 2026. She was born on June 10, 1951, to the late William and Ethel (Minns) Padgett. Marjorie's life was a testament to the love and joy she shared with those around her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Ethel (Minns) Padgett; grandson, Kevin Stinnett; great-grandchildren, Zachary Van Dyke, and Sydney Stinnett.
Majorie was an ordained minister and enjoyed her job as the manager of Tellico Plains KOA. She also had an immense passion for her family and her rescued dogs, each of whom held a special place in her heart.
She is survived by her husband, Stephen Morris whom she married in August of 2003; her children, Shelley (John) Benitz, Don (Kelly) Stinnett, and Jim Stinnett; grandchildren, Ashley Dishong, Keith Taylor, Amanda Athey, Jonathan Benitz, Cassandra Stinnett, Bethany Taylor, Skylar Brickhouse, Kylie Carroll, and Stephanie Taylor, (whom she spoke to everyday); great-grandchildren, Gavin and Jacob Dishong, Emilia Benitz, Dean Athey, Cameron, Delainey, and McKenna Taylor, Brooklynn, Kolton, and Mia Gibson, Eden and David Brickhouse; sisters, Dorothy Rath and Carol Pownall.
