Marjorie Ann Myers

Marjorie Ann Boring Myers, age 75, of Maryville, TN passed away while surrounded by her loved ones, Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Art and Polly "Haun" Boring and was of the Baptist faith and had recently been attending Oakland Baptist Church. "Margi" was a kind and loving person who never met a stranger. She was loved by all that knew her and will be greatly missed. All of her grandkids held a very special place in her heart.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years,David E. Myers of Maryville,TN ;children and spouses, Jeana Bradley (Don) of Decatur, TN, Tony Boring (Tonia) of Maryville,TN,Dora Ferguson of Friendsville, TN, andRebekah Myers and fiancé Jimmy Greenof Maryville, TN; grandchildren, Cara Barnes, Bradley Boring, Crystal Denson (Randy), Brandi Welch (Josh), Sarah Francess Jones, Beth Releford, Anthony Boring (Kailee), Brittany Cooper, Andrew Yager, Alex Yager, Trevor Bradley and Trinity Bradley;great-grandchildren, Isaiah Wilson, McKayla Boring, Emmalyn Welch, Jaydn Boring, Kylie Cooper, Jaxon Cooper, Cameron Denson, and one on the way; sister, Fran Palmer of Maryville, TN; mother-in-law, Icie Peals Myers of Tellico Plains, TN; step-great-grandchildren, Jordynn Sellers, Marissa Sellers, Chloe Denson and Colton Denson; great-Godsons; Kevin Blair and Gideon Miller; great grand Godson,Kaleb Lay; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, other family members and beloved friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, May 26, 2017 at Miller Funeral Home in Maryville. Funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m. in the Magnolia Chapel of Miller Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Hawley, Rev. Tony Boring, and Rev., Don Bradley officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 1:00 p.m. Saturday May 27, 2017 at Grandview Cemetery for the committal service.
