Melanie Dawn Brannon Dean

December 3, 1973 — May 20, 2021

Melanie Brannon Dean, age 47, of Englewood, TN went home to be with her Savior Thursday, May 20, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her son, Garrett Brannon Dean; grandparents, Grady and Neita Garrett and Ross Brannon; aunt, Marie Brackett; uncle, Ray Garrett; and special friend Melissa Garren.

Melanie was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Niota, TN. She was known for her heart of love and was always ready to help anyone in need. She loved being a second mom to many kids and teenagers where her guidance was always pointing them to the Lord, whom she loved and was a witness for. Melanie loved her family and was joy to be around.

She is survived by her husband, Donnie Dean; daughter, Destiny Dean; son Isaac Dean; parents, Randy and Marilyn Brannon; brother and sister-in-law, Andy and Evelyn Brannon; grandmother, Juanita Brannon; nephews, Ross Brannon, Josh Dean, Dustin Dean and Tim Dean; niece, Kayla Brannon; and several aunts and uncles; special cousin, Mary Ann Byers; special friends, Hope Shaw and Dawn Hammonds; and a wonderful church family.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Victory Baptist Church in Niota, TN. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the church with Pastor Chad Hester and Randy Brannon officiating. The committal service will follow at Hampton Family Cemetery in Englewood. The family request memorial donations to be made to Myers Funeral Home, PO Box 132 Tellico Plains, TN 37385.
