Michael "Mike" Roberts

Michael “Mike” Roberts, age 65, of Tellico Plains, TN passed away, Tuesday, July 11, 2023.

He is preceded in death by his father, J.C Roberts; step-father, Bobby Moses; sister, Mary Sewell; brother, Bobby Moses II; grandparents, Washie and Liddie Davis, Howard, and Gertie Roberts; brothers-in-law, Jeff Pilkey and Jamie Orr; cousin, Billy Joe Davis.

Mike loved his family, worked hard, and enjoyed helping others. He spent many years of his life working as a sheetrock hanger and finisher. Mike had several hobbies; he enjoyed racing, horseback riding, raising chickens and working on cars. His family was his world, he loved each of them dearly. Mike’s memory will be cherished by those he leaves behind.

He is survived by his wife of seven loving years, Missy Roberts; sons, Michael and Brian Roberts; step-son, Chase Gourley; daughters, Sandy and Cynthia Roberts; mother, Judy Moses; sisters and brothers-in-law Patricia Pilkey, Genella and Jeff Weeden, Lisa and Jimmy Hill, Norma Orr, Jennifer Roberts Trammell, Janice Burgess, Delores Roberts, and Donna Roberts; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mark and Tonya Roberts, Jeff and Linda Moses, Gene and Brenda Moses, James Moses, Jason Roberts, Johnny Roberts; grandchildren Michael Roberts III, Gracie Easterling, Kasara Bryson, Jacob Roberts, Wynter Hooper, Katryna Roberts, Matt and Amber Clayton.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. The family request in lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Myers Funeral Home P.O. Box 132 Tellico Plains, TN 37385. Myers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
