Michael "Mike" William Ellis

Michael “Mike” William Ellis, age 56, of Tellico Plains, went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, May 11, 2023 with his loving family by his side.

He is preceded in death by his father, Percy Ellis; grandparents, Zack and Kate Ellis, Roy and Purdie Blankenship.

Michael enjoyed riding his motorcycle and fishing. He had many dogs that he cared for greatly. He loved his family very much and will be missed by each of them.

He is survived by his wife, Brandy Lee Ellis; daughters, Skylar Ferry and Jaden Coker; son, Michael Gomez; granddaughter, Aspen Hunt; mother, Ruth Ellis; sisters and brother-in-law, Mary Ellis and Bonnie and Bob Pratt; brothers and sisters-in-laws, Dale and Kim Ellis and Steve and Karen Ellis; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; special friends, Steve King, J.T Edington, Scott Murphy, and Austin Hunt. The family would like to give a special thank you to Neva Kelley, Carrie Blankenship, and Nancy Butler.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, May 12, 2023 at Myers Funeral Home. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 13, and proceed to City Cemetery for the 11:00 a.m. graveside service with Rev. Clayton Dunsmore officiating.
