Nikki Forrester

Nikki Kai Shaw Forrester, age 43, of Tellico Plains passed away Saturday, July 9, 2022 .

She is survived by her mommy, Trish Lynn; step-father, Ray Lynn; sister, Chasity Monday; son, Gabe Forrester; nephew, Justin Jake; niece, Jayden-Lai Jake; grandma, Mary Giles Knapp; aunt, Sharon Morgan; aunt, Robin Chelette (Robert); uncle, Greg Ogle (Cindy); special great-aunt, Lee Parker; several cousins in Monroe and Blount County; and special friends, Janet Waston, Teresa Dawson, Haley and Kailtin Jones;  very special persons, Terry “Turk” Lynn, Larry and Charlotte Dowds; God sent mamaw, Gwen Halloway.

Nikki was born on January 12, 1979. She was a beautiful girl that loved life. Nikki was very active, she enjoyed playing basketball, softball, hunting, fishing, riding her horses and going on the wagon trains. She was loved and will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her papaw, B.B Shaw; brother, Zachary Shaw; great-mamaw, Tennie Shaw; grandparents, Winford and Ice Giles; step-aunt, Linda Valentine; step-uncle, Steve Bubba Shaw.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life service 6:00 p.m. Friday, July 15, 2022 at Myers Funeral Home with Bro. Kip Stiles officiating. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made to Myers Funeral Home, P.O. Box 132, Tellico Plains, TN  37385.  Myers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
