Nora Mae Holliday

Nora Mae Wear Holliday, 83, born May 6, 1934, of Tellico Plains passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family, Friday, September 15, 2017 at her home.

She was a long time employee of Tellico Telephone Company (TDS) and an avid wagon trainer, Nora loved working in her flowers and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Holliday; son, Sammy Holliday; parents, John B and Ruby S. Moser Wear; Grandmother, "Little Granny" Mary Wear; sisters, Mary Kinsley, Joyce H. Lee, Jane Henry and Linda Gail Brannon; brothers, Charles Wear, John B. Wear, Jr., and David M. Wear and brothers-in-law, Wayne Reagan and Bob Lee; sisters-in-law, Dot Wear.

Survivors include, daughters and sons-in-law, Happy and Don Shaw and Nora Freida and Mike Lowe all of Tellico Plains, TN; daughter-in-law, Suzy Holliday of Tellico Plains, TN; grandchildren and spouses, Benjy and Tammy Shaw, Jennifer and Wayne Wilson, Kelley and Chad Robbins, Joey and Tammy Freeman and Chris and Carrie Freeman; great-grandchildren and spouse, Emily and Sy Schrimsher, Eli Shaw, Autumn and Alyssa Wilson and Samantha and Clay Robbins; great-great-grandchildren, Titus Schrimsher, Caden Campbell and McKinley Martin; 7step-great grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law: Jewel Rae Reagan of Tellico Plains, TN, Johnanna and Roy Britton of Tellico Plains, TN, and Peggy and K.D. Moser of Madisonville, TN; brothers and sisters-in-law, Pete and Alice Wear and Jimmy and Vicki Wear all of Tellico Plains, TN; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Nancy and Denny Lee of Tellico Plains, TN and several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Myers Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 8:00 p.m. in Myers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Johnny Stewart and Rev. B.J. Wall officiating. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 12 noon Monday, September 18 and proceed to Living Waters Memorial Gardens for the 1:00 p.m. committal service.
