Ozell Lance Miller, age 78, of Tellico Plains passed away on, Friday, June 19, 2026.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Russell Miller; and son, Scotty Rodney Miller; her parents, Irene and Roy Lance; sister and brother-in-law, Ernestine (Calbert) Hamilton; brothers and sisters-in-law, George (Reba) Lance, RK (Penny) Lance, Eugene (Janice) Lance, Floyd Lance, and baby brother, Norman Lance.

Ozell dearly loved her family and cherished every moment she spent caring for them. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who made sure no one ever left her house hungry. Being a caregiver came naturally to her, and she found joy in looking after those she loved. She also enjoyed spending her free time yard selling, always on the search for unique treasures.

She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law; Dewayne Miller, and Ricky and Sandra Miller; 9 grandchildren and spouses, Josh Miller, Dillon and Ashley Miller, Chelsea and Jeffery Garrett, Breonna Miller and fiancé Braden Couch, Ciarra Evans, Christian Miller, Eric (Jennifer) Crosland, Josh (Payton) Crosland, Hannah (Kaleb) Elswick; 17 great grandchildren; sister, Birdie Green; sister and brother-in-law, Wanda and Phil Lynn; sister-in-law, Floyd Lance’s wife, Janice Lance; many nieces, nephews, several cousins, and many friends. She will be missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at Myers Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Danny Roberts officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday and proceed to Unicoi Cemetery for 11:00 a.m. committal service. Myers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
