Pati Russell, age 65, of Tellico Plains, was reunited with her family in Heaven early Christmas morning, December 25, 2024.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Tony E. Russell; parents, Jerry and Margaret Eifler; daughter, Helen; granddaughter, Tiffany; grandson, Isaiah Dalton, and two brothers.
Pati was a longtime member of the Tellico Plains Church of God and attended Eleazar Methodist Church. She was well known in the Tellico Plains community and always enjoyed helping anytime there was a need. Pati worked at Town Square Café for many years before opening her own restaurant called the Checkerboard. She was a woman of many talents including, quilting, sewing, cooking, and baking. Pati was also an avid supporter of all veterans, especially the Vietnam Veterans. Her cat Prissy kept her company while she was home. Pati’s greatest blessings was her grandchildren, she loved nothing more than spending time with them.
She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Dalton; sons and daughters-in-law, Jamie and Bonnie Dalton and J.J. and Alicia Dalton; bonus mother, Pam Hassett; sisters, Marie, Christine, Alisa, Tami, and Shelly; brothers, Todd and Steve; grandchildren and spouse, Brian, Autumn and Zach, Ethan, Makenna, Hunter, Kadance, Izaha, Alyssa, Lily, and Alisha; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Barbara Sue, Corrina, Joan, Leo, John, and Greg.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, December 29, 2024 at Myers Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Jackie Wakefield officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 12:00 noon Monday, December 30, 2024 at Myers Funeral Home and proceed to Eleazar Cemetery for the 1:00 p.m. committal service.
