Patsy H. Walker

Patsy H. Walker, age 80, of Tellico Plains, went home to be with the Lord and her family she had waiting on Friday, January 8, 2021 at her home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Eddie Helton; husband Leroy Walker; son, Roger Wallace; brother, Benjamin Helton; sister, Annette Petty; and granddaughter, Andraya D. Wallace.

Pat was a member of the Tellico Church of God and was of the Pentecostal faith.

She enjoyed canning in the summertime and cooking for those she loved. Her favorite pastimes were playing Bingo, singing and going to church. She was an avid KY Wildcats fan. Pat lovingly cared for her son, Roger until his passing and her best friend was her dog Buster.

She is survived by her son Curtis Wallace of Tellico Plains; grandchildren, David J. Wallace of Etowah, TN and Moriah Payne of Chatsworth, GA; great-grandchildren, Kristy Payne and Skyler Hunt of Chatsworth, GA; sister-in-law, Barbara Helton of Barbourville, KY; special niece and husband, Frankie and Jackie Blackwell of Tellico Plains; special nephew and wife, Ben and Terri Helton Jr. of Barbourville, KY.

The family will not be receiving friends but the Chapel will be open from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday, January 11 for anyone that wants to come to pay their respects. The funeral service will be held 5:00 p.m. in Myers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jackie Wakefield officiating. Family and friends will assemble Tuesday, January 12 at Hardshell Cemetery for the 2:00 p.m. committal service.
