Paul Edgar Webb, age 70, of Tellico Plains, won the battle and claimed his victory, Wednesday, January 24, 2024 while surrounded by his loved ones.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Anna Webb; father-in-law, Avis Sheffey; and brother-in-law, Larry Ingle.
Paul was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. He retired from Whirlpool of Cleveland after 41 years of service. Retirement allowed Paul to enjoy more time working at his sawmill and the family farm. The true joy of his life was spending time with his family. Paul loved his wife and daughters dearly, but his grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of his life.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Nancy Sheffey Webb; daughters and son-in-law, Kim Webb, Sharon Webb, and Rebecca and Andy Houston; grandchildren and spouses, Justin and Demaris Miller, Cheyenne and Shane Graves, Chase Miller, MaKenna Thurman, Angel and Levi Lanter, Austin Webb, and Reagan Houston; great-grandchildren, Ryder Graves, Xander Miller, and Gracelynn Lanter; sisters and brother-in-law, Priscilla Ingle and Juanita and Jimmy Gilbert; mother-in-law, Blanche Sheffey; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Louise and Dwight Ervin, Rhea and Mary Ann Sheffey, Carmen Galyon, Peggy and Stan Martin, and Carl and Audrey Sheffey; many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, January 28, 2024 at Myers Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Tim Womac officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 29, 2024 at Myers Funeral Home and will proceed to Webb Family Cemetery located by Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church for the 2:00 p.m. committal service. Myers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
