Phillip James Debernardi

Phillip James DeBernardi, age 36, passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Sweetwater hospital.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry and Alice DeBernardi and William Rex and Anna Lyle; step-sister, Megan Iannuzzi; and his good friend, Mr. Krause.

Phillip had two verses that he based his life after daily:

Mark 12:31 – You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than this.

Acts 4:11 & 12 – Jesus is the stone you builders rejected which has become the cornerstone. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.

He is survived by his father and step-mother, James H. DeBernardi and Margaret DeBernardi of Englewood; mother, Rebecca J. DeBernardi of Lancaster, PA; brothers, Lyle C. DeBernardi of Tellico Plains, TN; and step-brother, William Skip Iannuzzi of Englewood, TN.

A private celebration of life service will be held with Rev. Jon Faraone officiating. Donations in memory of Phillip DeBernardi can be made to your favorite charity for the homeless.
