Robbie Peals Boring

Funeral Services for Robbie Peals Boring, 92, who entered into rest will be conducted this Friday morning at 11 o’clock from Matlock Baptist Church, Dr. Mark Riser and Joshua Boring officiating. Interment will follow in Jackson Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Boring was born March 28, 1933, in Tellico Plains, TN to the late Joseph and Ellen Peals. She retired from a long career in nursing. Mrs. Boring was a longtime member of Matlock Baptist Church. She was an avid Atlanta Braves fan, loved Elvis music but most of all hosting birthday, holiday and Sunday family gatherings. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Boring and ten brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her daughters, Debbie Broome (Roy) and Dinah Nason (David); sons, Dennis Boring (Cindy) and William “Billy” Boring (Janice); nine grandchildren, Shane Boring (Chris), Brett Boring (Ashley), EmmaLee Salvo (Justin), Carmella Hammond (Dow), Crystal Boyd (Chip), Brandon Nason (Crystal), Samuel Nason (Deborah), Joshua Boring (Jordan) and Jacob Boring; thirteen great-grandchildren, Jack, Ollie, Brooks, Grayson, McKinlee, Bristol, Chandler, Darren, Kristy, Katy, Lacy, Judah and Josiah; one great-great-grandchild, Colton; sister, Delzie Young (Hubert); brother, Joseph “Junior” Peals (Betty) and Verlin Peals.

Pallbearers will be Shane Boring, Brett Boring, Brandon Nason, Samuel Nason, Jacob Boring, Chandler Boyd and Darren Boyd.

The family would like to thank all the many caregivers for their help along this journey.

Family will receive friends Friday, September 12, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. with the service to follow at Matlock Baptist Church in Jackson, South Carolina.
