Robert "Bob" Kenyon

Robert "Bob" J. Kenyon died very suddenly April 9, 2018 at his home in Tellico Plains, TN. Bob was born on May 21, 1947 in Westerly, RI. He was the son of the late Russell J. Kenyon and Helen I. Kenyon. He had resided in Tellico Plains for the past 8 years, previously residing in Plainfield, CT.

Following his graduation from Plainfield High School, Bob enlisted in the United States Army, for which he and his family were very proud. Bob is a Veteran of the Vietnam War and a life member of the Plainfield VFW, Post 5446. Upon his honorable Discharge from the Army, Bob spent his working years as a well-known mechanic. Bob retired from the Town of Plainfield, Highway Department after 29 years, at which time he moved to Tennessee.

Bob leaves his Mom, Helen; son, Robert Russell Kenyon; daughter-in-law, Joyce (Liskey) Kenyon; granddaughter, Sierra Kenyon and his four sisters, Ursala Pussinen (Len) of Plainfield, CT., Daphne Heon (Don) of Tellico Plains, TN.; Brenda Massott (Volker) of Tellico Plains, TN. and Wendy Kenyon of Abington, VA. Bob also leaves several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be at the Plainfield VFW, Friday, April 20th at 3PM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Plainfield VFW, Windsor Ave., Plainfield, CT 06374.
