Robin Elizabeth Newman Mccamey

Robin Elizabeth Newman McCamey, age 59, of Tellico Plains passed away unexpectedly Friday, December 13, 2024 at her home.

She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Joyce McCamey.

Robin was a member of Brown Hill Church. She enjoyed traveling, anything from beach trips, camping, to riding motorcycles with her husband. Robin’s most valued time was the time she spent with her family especially with her grandchildren and great nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her husband, Roy Lynn McCamey; sons, Joshua Dean Sylvester, and William Boyd Caudill; step-son, Bradley Lee McCamey; parents, William Jack and Norma Ann Newman; father-in-law, Charlie McCamey; grandchildren, Lainey Kay Sylvester, Neyland Keith Sylvester, and Colton Lynn McCamey; sister and brother-in-law, Jackie and Steve Harris; 4 sisters-in-law and spouses; 2 brothers-in-law and spouses; nieces and spouses, Kristin  and Adam Pennington, and Beth Ann and Will Raby; great nephews, Griffin Pennington and Carson Raby; great niece, Jordan Raby; several cousins, and many friends.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Brown Hill Church. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Josh Duncan officiating. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to Myers Funeral Home at P.O. Box 132 Tellico Plains, TN 37385. Myers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
