Ronnie Virgle Cook

Ronnie Virgle Cook, age 66, of Tellico Plains, TN, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 26, 2016 surrounded by his family at his residence.

He is preceded in death by his father, Ora Cook, Sr; sisters, Sandra Buckner and Ellari Davis; and brothers, Dan and Benton Cook.

He is survived by his wife of almost 49 years,Mary Cook of Tellico Plains, TN; daughters and son-in-law,Michelle and Bobby Stewart of Etowah, TN and Denise Hyde of Tellico Plains, TN; son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Starlene Cook of Decatur, TN; mother,Jimmie Sue Cook of Tellico Plains, TN; sister and brother-in-law, Melb and Roy Marcus of North Carolina; brothers and sister-in-law,Ora and Barbara Cook of McMinnville, TN andMax Cook of Tellico Plains, TN; grandchildren, Rachel Cook, Andrew Stewart, Kylie, Chasity and Riley Cook, and Catie Hyde; great granddaughter,Gracie Cook andseveral nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, August 29, 2016 at Myers Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 8:00 p.m. in Myers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Williams officiating. Family and friends will assemble at Myers Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 30, 2016 and proceed to Norwood Hill Cemetery for the 11:00 a.m. committal service.
