Rosie Mae Miller

Rosie Mae Miller, age 86, of Tellico Plains passed away at her home Thursday, January 11, 2018 while surrounded by her family.

She was a lifelong resident of Tellico Plains and a member of Miller's Chapel Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Prudie Blankenship; her late husband, Jessie Miller; brothers, Charles, Howard and Kenneth Miller; sister, Ersie Walker; her special granddaughter, Heather Marie Miller Hill; and daughters-in-law, Patsy and Linda Miller.

She is survived by her daughter,Neva Kelly of Tellico Plains, TN; sons and daughters-in-law,Bobby Millerof Tellico Plains, TN,Ronnie Millerof Tellico Plains, TN,Eugene Millerof Tellico Plains, TN,Steve and Anna Millerof Madisonville,TN,James and Shawn Millerof Tellico Plains, TN andRoger Millerof Tellico Plains, TN; sister, Ruth Ann Ellisof Tellico Plains, TN; brothers and sister-in-law,Earl Blankenshipof Tellico Plains, TN andBill and Freda Blankenship of Tellico Plains, TN; 11 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren; Several nieces, nephews, friends and many more who will miss her.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Myers Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 8:00 p.m. in Myers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carroll Hamilton officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 12:00 noon Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Myers Funeral Home and proceed to Miller's Chapel Cemetery for the 1:00 p.m. committal service. Jamie, Mikal, Blake and Steven Miller, Peyton Dean and Michael Thomas will serve as pallbearers.
