Ruby Lee Russell

Ruby Lee Russell, born December 26, 1939, of Tellico Plains, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at Sweetwater Hospital, she was 77 years old.

.A longtime member of Eleazar United Methodist Church, a loving wife of 58 years and mother of two sons. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Howard Russell; son, Joe Howard Russell; and parents, Earl and Stella Buckner.

Her survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Pati Russell of Tellico Plains, TN; daughter-in-law, Cindy Russell of Madisonville, TN; grandchildren, Tonya Russell, Jamie Dalton, Amanda Dalton, and Joshua Dalton great-grandchildren, Kamryn Russell Gray, Autumn Dalton, Makenna Dalton, Kadance Dalton, and Ethan Mager; two brothers; four sisters; and many nieces and nephews.

Ruby will be lovingly missed by all.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Myers Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 8:00 p.m. in Myers Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor William Brickey officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Myers Funeral Home and proceed to Eleazar Cemetery for the 11:00 a.m. committal service.
