Samantha "Sam" Leeann Newman

Samantha “Sam” Leeann Newman, age 44, of Tellico Plains, TN, went to her heavenly home to join her brother, Jamie on Thursday, August 11, 2022.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Jamie Newman; grandfather, George Yearwood; and step-father, Bobby Garrett.

Samantha loved all dogs, especially her own fur babies, Harley and Davidson. Her dogs loved to go for rides with her, one their favorite trips was riding to the river to go swimming. Samantha was loved deeply by all her family and friends and will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Bree Watson; father, Jim Newman; mother, Carol Robbins; step-mother, Jan Newman; nieces, Laureen and Emily Newman; nephew, Jay Newman; fur babies, Harley and Davidson; and many more family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday August 16, 2022 at Myers Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 18th at New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Madisonville with Steve Strickland officiating.
