Samantha 'Nikki" Lethco

Samantha “Nikki” Hunt Lethco, age 37, of Tellico Plains received her wings, Wednesday, May 19, 2021.

Nikki was a graduate of Tellico Plains High School and an active member of Faith Church in Sweetwater, TN for twenty three years. She taught youth classes, sang in the choir and wrote the church programs. She loved reading and had an in home library; she was continuously adding to her collection. One of her most favorite things to do was spending time with friends and family, she was a social butterfly. Nikki had three beautiful children, Ayden, Amiya and Ashton Lemarr. They were her world and she loved them very much.

In 2007, she acquired a traumatic brain injury, due to a motorcycle accident. When most would have given up, Nikki fought hard and overcame tremendous obstacles with great courage. After her accident, she went on to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and was currently working towards her Master’s Degree. She had a zeal for life and an enormous amount of dedication. Nikki was an inspiration to all. Words can never express how much Nikki meant to all of us, how much she was loved, and how much she will be missed.

She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Dennis Harris; grandfathers, Floyd Taylor and Kenneth Hunt.

She is survived by Andy Lethco; her three children, Ayden, Amiya and Ashton Lemarr; mother, Tammy (Mark) Maxwell; father Greg (Ruthie) Hunt; grandmothers, Betty Taylor and Roxie Hunt; brothers, Dusty Harris and Blake Hunt; sisters, Karsen and Savana Hunt; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins; one special friend Matthew Holker.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at Myers Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held in the chapel Sunday at 7:00 p.m., with Rev. Jack Sylvester and Pastor Jack Crisp officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 24, at Myers Funeral Home and proceed to Eleazar Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. committal service.
