Sandy Breinlinger of Cocoa Beach, Florida passed away on the 31st of May 2018 at the age of 55 in her home in Tellico Plains, Tennessee. She will be greatly missed and remain in our hearts forever.
Sandy was the beloved wife of Art Breinlinger for 32 years. Sandy leaves behind her two brothers, William and Artie Bilotta, sister, Sally Burke, son Shawn Breinlinger, daughter Samantha Breinlinger and Sandy's three grandchildren: Shawna, Arthur, and Liam Breinlinger. She was preceded in death by her father Arthur Bilotta.
Sandy was born in Macon, Georgia to Arthur and Sally Bilotta. She was the third of four children. The family then moved to Cocoa Beach, Florida where she grew up. She exceled in competitive gymnastics, enjoyed fast and slow pitch softball as well as cheerleading. She graduated from Cocoa Beach High School in 1979. She relocated to California where she met and married the love of her life Art Breinlinger. Art and Sandy were made for one another. They raised their children in Florida. She was a supportive mother who enjoyed attending her children's sporting events and family gatherings. She loved summers and Christmases spent at her parents' home in North Carolina together with her husband, children, brothers, sister, nieces and nephews. Family was very important to Sandy.
After raising her children, Sandy loved traveling with her husband. They enjoyed motorcycle rides around the United States together. They also traveled throughout Frankfurt, Berlin, Amsterdam, and other European countries. Her favorite trips were to Costa Rica and the Von Trapp house in Austria.
Sandy was best known for her feisty, fun sense of humor. She could always be counted on for her candid honesty. Sandy will be remembered as a passionate woman of great integrity who was devoted to her family. She will be greatly missed.
The family will hold a private Celebration of Life Service at a later date.
