Scotty Rodney Miller, age 55, of Tellico Plains passed away unexpectedly on, Saturday February 21, 2026.

He is preceded in death by his father, Russell Miller; grandparents, Roy and Irene Lance, and Edward and Gladith Miller.

Scotty was a lifelong resident of Tellico Plains, Tennessee, who loved fishing on the river and enjoying being out in the fresh air.

He is survived by his daughters and son-in-law, Chelsea and Jeffery Garrett, Ciarra Evans, and Breonna Miller and fiancé Braden Couch; son, Christian Miller; grandchildren, Bentley and Cooper Garrett, Kairo, Kamauri, and Khalil Porter, and Adelyn Mae Couch; mother, Ozell Miller; brothers and sister-in-law, Wayne Miller, and Ricky and Sandra Miller; niece, Hannah Elswich; nephews, Josh and Dillon Miller, and Eric and Josh Crosland; several aunts and uncles and special cousins.
