Selena Jeanette (Debety) Wiggs

Selena Jeanette (Debety) Wiggs, age 46 went to be with the Lord Sunday, November 29, 2020 at Sweetwater Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Alvin and Gladith Debety, Fate and Esta Baker and grandmother, Welberta Baker Pruitt.

She was a member of Miller’s Chapel Church. A dedicated sunday school teacher, Selena enjoyed organizing the Christmas play. She was a rural route mail carrier and also worked for the U. S. Forest Service.  Selena loved the outdoors, children and serving the Lord.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne Wiggs; daughter, Amber Wiggs; parents, Buddy and Dora Debety; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will not be receiving friends but the Chapel will be open from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 2 for anyone that wants to come to pay their respects. A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 3 at Miller’s Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Jim Stakely and Rev. Gennis Best officiating. In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials be made to American Cancer Society (donate3.cancer.org).
