Sharon was a devoted member of Antioch Baptist Church. She loved her family and friends dearly, but nothing brought her greater joy than her grandchildren who were the center of her world. She treasured the memories she made while traveling with her loved ones, whether spending time at the beach, relaxing in the cabins in the mountains, or camping together. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Amedysis Hospice for the compassionate care and support they provided during this difficult time.

She is survived by her loving husband, Eddie Dwight Burton; daughters and son-in-law, Keisha “Sissie” Burton (Bo Allison), Robbin and Chris McKenzie; son and daughter-in-law, Eddie and Jessica Burton Jr; sisters and brother-in-law, Renee Everett, Sharon Crowder, Julie and Randy Sisk; grandchildren, Bentley McKenzie, Kynslie Allison, and Sophia Burton.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at Myers Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Danny Roberts and Rev.
