Shirley Wallace

Shirley Wallace, age 83, of Tellico Plains went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 27, 2021.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Vester Wallace; father, Luther Moses; mother, Elizabeth Thompson.

Shirley was a member of Piney Grove community church. She enjoyed many different things in life such as traveling, shopping and cooking but it wasn’t uncommon to find her watching a good western show. Shirley loved her family and will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her sons, Dale (Lesa) Wallace, Clifford (Loretta) Wallace, Jamey (Cathy) Wallace; daughters Louise (Doyle) Love and Lisa (Jim) White; eleven grandchildren; and several great grandchildren; one special friend, Faye Freeman.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Myers Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 30, 2021 in the chapel of Myers Funeral Home with Minister Vernon Webb officiating. The committal service will follow at Piney Grove Freeman Cemetery.  The family request donations be made to Myers Funeral Home, PO Box 132, Tellico Plains, TN 37385.
