Steve Holcomb

Steve Holcomb, age 84, of Tellico Plains passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family Thursday, February 20, 2020 at Parkwest Medical Center.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Etta Holcomb; wife Larna Holcomb; brothers, Browder, Brown, and Avery Holcomb; and grandson, Jesse Couch. Steve was of the Baptist faith and a former pastor of Beaty’s Chapel Church.

He is survived by his children, Steve Gregory Holcomb, Teresa Couch, Brian Holcomb, and Terra Michelle Engle; grandchildren, Laci Howard, Josh Couch, Nadine Belcher, and Ellijo Engle; great-grandchildren, Scarlett Couch and Coey Belcher; sisters, Lola Holcomb and Jenna Faye Yates; many nieces, nephews, and several other family members.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 23, 2020 at Myers Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in Myers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Walker officiating. Committal service following at Eleazar Cemetery. Myers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
