Teresa Ann Gourley Ellis

Teresa Ann Gourley Ellis, age 60, of Tellico Plains, was reunited with her parents in Heaven on, August 3, 2024 at home with her loving family by her side.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James “Eddie” and Patsy Gourley.

Teresa was a beautiful person inside and out; always had a smile on her face. She had a laugh that was contagious and would always make you laugh with her. Teresa loved her church as well as her family dearly. Her greatest blessing was all the children in her life, especially her grandbabies.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Savannah and Chris Eaton, and Sasha and Dakota Rinehart; husband, Charles Ellis; grandchildren, Nehemiah Gaona, Journee Jubar, Daelyn Rinehart, Charleigh Woods, Layne and Corbyn Eaton, and Joshua Foxx; brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Sandra Smith; nephews and family, Cory and Ryan Smith; uncles and aunts, Jerry and Nancy Gourley, Carolyn and Claude Stewart, Barabra Miller, Joyce Gourley, Debbie and Greg Colvin, Claude Smith and Jarvis Thomas; special friends Stephanie Kirkland, and Veronica Cole.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon., Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at Myers Funeral Home.  Family and friends will proceed to Center Cemetery for the 12:30 p.m. graveside service with Jody Stewart officiating. The family request memorial donations be made to Myers Funeral Home at P.O. Box 132 Tellico Plains, TN 37385. Myers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
