Tonya Baker Bunch

Tonya Baker Bunch, age 64, of Tellico Plains, passed away peacefully on Thursday morning May 18, 2023 after suffering with cancer for the past few months.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Herman A. and Alma Boring Baker; son, Ronald Nicholas Bunch; and grandparents, Fate and Louise Harris Baker and Doss and Vivian Boring.

Tonya was born in Knoxville on July 26, 1958. She was a member of Dixie Lee Baptist Church in Lenoir City and a 1976 graduate of Farragut High School.

She is survived by her aunts and uncles; Ruth and Dennis Hunt, Dora and Buddy Debety, Nina Killian and Madell Bunch; special cousin and husband Sonya and Bobby Holt; special friends Ann Raby and Betty Meeks and many other cousins and family members.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, May 11, 2023 at Shady Grove Cemetery with Rev. B.J. Wall officiating. The family request in lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Myers Funeral Home PO Box 132 Tellico Plains, TN 37385.
