Tooter Coleman

Tooter Coleman, age 61, of Tellico Plains went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 while surrounded by her loving family.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Doris Ann Tucker.

Tooter had the greatest love of life and enjoyed watching Cameron play ball and loving on her precious grandbabies. An employee of Tellico Plains High School for 20 years, she loved her students and the work she did there.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years, J.W. Coleman ; father, Reed Tucker; children and spouses, Jami and Tommy Babb, Lauren and Sam Hunt, Cameron Coleman all of Tellico Plains, and Brandi Coleman and Shane Coleman of Madisonville; grandchildren, Scout and Tucker Hunt of Tellico Plains and Kailynn and Karley Boring of Madisonville; brother, Bunkum Tucker of Tellico Plains; special friend, Sherry McConkey of Madisonville and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 20 at Myers Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 8:00 p.m. in Myers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Darryl Veal and Rev. Mickey Payne officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 21 at Myers Funeral Home and proceed to Center Cemetery for the 11:00 a.m. committal service.
