Valaree "Dee" Headrick

Valaree "Dee" Headrick, age 95, of Tellico Plains, TN, went home to be with the Lord, April 2, 2016, at her home, surrounded by her family and friends. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. Dee was a very special person and was dearly loved by her family and many friends. She was preceded in death by, her husband, Luther Headrick; parents, R. B. and Icie Cagle; brother, Harold Cagle; and sister, Mary Sue Hamilton.

Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Douglas Farold and Shirley Cagle of Cleveland, TN; sister-in-law, Beryl Cagle of Tellico Plains, TN; special niece and spouse, Tammy and Mike Green of Cleveland, TN; special nephews and spouses, Dennis and Charlene Cagle of Madisonville, TN and Bobby and Shelby Hamilton of Cleveland, TN; special friends, DeeDee Yates, LaVonda Roberts, and Pat Burger; and several great-nieces and great nephews.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 4, 2016 in Myers Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be held at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 5, 2016 with Rev. Gennis Best and Rev. Darryl Veal officiating. Interment to follow the funeral service at Piney Grove Cemetery.
