Vernona Johnson

Vernona “Nonie” Johnson, age 70 of Madisonville, TN formerly of Sarasota, FL, succumbed to her illness Monday, June 10, 2019 at her home while surrounded by her loving family.

She was preceded in death by infant grandson, Grayson and was a graduate of Dixie Holland High School in St. Pete, FL. Nonie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Gordon Johnson; sons, Jeremiah, Jarrod, and Jaron Johnson; daughters, Leslie Bozek, Christy, Erika, Elisha, Jessica, and Melissa Johnson; grandchildren, Cheyenne, Braylon, Landon, Ashton, Lanna, Brinlee, Jonas, Rosaliegh, Elisa, Gabriella, Fabian; great-grand-children, Killian, Dawson, Wrenley,  Salem, and Adlyn; she also leaves behind her 3 beloved Chihuahuas.

A celebration of life service will be announced at a later date.
