Rev W Paul Fritts

Rev. W. Paul Fritts, age 81, of Tellico Plains, TN., a native of Lenoir City, TN went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Pearl Fritts; a brother, Charles Curtis Fritts and a sister, Mary Louise Fritts.

Paul was an U.S. Army Veteran and attended Lee University. His ministry started at Rogersville Church of God for 6 years then he pastored at Tellico Church of God for 44 years. He was a member of Kiwanis of Tellico Plains and a former Alderman of the City Council of Tellico Plains.

Survived by his wife, June Fritts of Tellico Plains, TN; sons and daughters-in-law,John and Faye Fritts of Tellico Plains, TN,David and Leann Fritts of Madisonville, TN andMarty Fritts of Tellico Plains, TN.

7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren

He loved his church family and will be missed by all.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 4, 2016 at Myers Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 5 at Tellico Church of God with Rev. Charles Fritts, Layspeaker Jackie Wakefield and Rev. Mickey Payne officiating. Committal service to follow at New Providence Cemetery. Kevin Fritts, Jordan Greene, Zack Fritts, Joe Kirkland, Cody Fritts and Dale Webb will serve as pallbearers. Great grandsons Aaden, Issac, Nash, Nolan, Rylan and Nathaniel will serve as honorary pallbearers. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Tellico Church of God, 321 School Street, Tellico Plains, TN 37385.
