William Harold Taylor

William “Harold” Taylor, age 67 , of Sweetwater, passed away Sunday, February 14, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Shirley Taylor; sister, Kathy Wade; grandson, Eli Laymance.

Harold was a deacon of Fairview Baptist Church of Tellico Plains, TN. He enjoyed fishing, working in his workshop and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Nancy Taylor; son and daughter-in-law Billy and Sherrie Taylor; daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Randy Laymance; grandchildren, Austin Taylor, Kelsie Roberts, Justin Roberts, Dylan Taylor, Amber Taylor, Corey Taylor, Savannah Laymance and Matthew Laymance; great grandchildren, Makenzie Roberts, Emmalie Roberts, Jud Roberts and Keyson; brother and sister-in-law Ronnie and Barbara Taylor; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Myers Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Chapel with Rev. Dennis Atkins and Pastor John Coleman officiating. Family and friends will assemble at Myers Funeral Home 12:00 noon Thursday, February 18, 2021 and proceed to Notchey Creek Cemetery for the 1:00 p.m. committal service.
