William Gary Watson

William “Gary” Watson, age 70 of Tellico Plains went home to be with his Lord Tuesday, December 29, 2020.

He was preceded in death by his father, William “Tommy” Watson; sister, Linda Sparks; brother, Kenny Watson.

He was a pipe fitter/welder for many years. He was a hard worker and loving husband. Gary was loved by many and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Jeanette Watson of Tellico Plains; children, Craig Watson, Stephanie Hood, Angela Watson, Michael, Jeffery and Melisha Holcomb, Deonte Fletcher; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Holcomb, Joseph DeMarco and Maria Lakes; great granddaughter, Maeleigh Grace; mother, Mary Lee Watson; sisters, Judy and Janet; brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Cathy; sister-in-law, Karen; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Lillie and Rev. Willis White; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 31 at Myers Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon January 1 in Myers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Willis White officiating. Committal service to follow at Beaty’s Chapel Cemetery.
