Winston L Hicks

Winston L. Hicks, age 68, of Tellico Plains passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dike and Azeline Hicks; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jr. and June Hicks, Kenneth and Mary Gail Hicks, Dillard Hicks; nephew, Dewight Hicks.

He loved hunting and gardening and his big green John Deere tractor. Winston will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his sister Robin Hicks; sister-in-law, Ruth Hicks; nephew and spouse, Jamie and Lois Hicks; nieces and spouses, Melissa and Troy Pierce, Teresa and Ed Allen, Denise and George Weinger, Stacy Hicks, Brenda and Jonny Seay; special brothers of heart, Dan Duckett and Ed Snyder; son of heart, Justin Jones.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 14 at Myers Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. in Myers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Watson officiating. Family and friends will assemble at Rural Vale Cemetery Friday, January 15 for the 11:00 a.m. committal service.
